Sunday morning saw 4 full crews training for round 3 of the winter series. A brilliant turn out for a beautiful but chilly morning. All teams had a full work out with both coxes giving running commentary.
There is something special about driving your gig through calm unbroken water first thing in the morning.
The low temperatures caused steam to rise from the crews adding to the special atmosphere.
The tide was extremely low however we are lucky in Brightlingsea as there is always enough water to launch.
A huge seal popped a head above the water to see what all the splashing was about.
